Everyone knows the Philodendron ‘Little Phil’ as the cute little philodendron with narrow leaves and compact shape. Well let me introduce you to what I’m calling the “Not at all little Little Phil”. I honestly had no idea they could get so massive! They are so beautiful in person I had to take one to my house. The leaves on these specimens are well over 18” long and the stems feature flashes of red, cream and orange. This hybrid was originally developed in Australia to be a very compact, shade loving philodendron.. well so much for that! I found 5 of these supersized specimens in the leftover section of my friend’s nursery.
