Common Names: Burle Mark Philodendron

Overview: Glossy, heart-shaped leaves are the focal point of this low profile Philodendron. A highly successful ground cover or border plant, the Burle Marx will climb if given support. And, just in case you were wondering how this plant its name, it was in honor of the brilliant Brazilian artist and landscape architect, Roberto Burle Marx. Though the Burle Marx is well suited for your interiors, it does tolerate more sun than other philodendrons. It will also tolerate mild drought once well established.

The only reason I’m not giving 6/6 is that 1 has some discoloration on the leaves, but I moved it into a room with more filtered sunlight… so that could be a ‘me’ problem. I've been wanting this plant for a while now. Watching other plant nurseries have this same plant for sale, and I decided to buy through Plant vine. I bought a large Swiss Cheese from them a while back. The plant had issues, and they stood by they word. My biggest concern was I had purchased it out of season. They said they'd replace it when they got one ready to ship. My Swiss Cheeseplant and Iron plant are both beautiful!
