Description
MILD FROST: NO PROBLEM! JUICY FRUITS: YOU GOT ‘EM!
The Mangifera Indica ‘Glenn’ is a small Mango tree that rewards you with its delicious fruit a mere 3 or 4 years after planting. While tough-skinned, the oval fruit is incredibly sweet and non-fibrous. Like others in the mango family, some people experience a poison ivy-type reaction to the fruit’s exterior, so you may want to handle the fruit while wearing gloves.
This smaller sized tree (usually 15 ft or lower) offers up a pleasing, rounded canopy. Ideal in tropical or subtropical areas, this tree is self-pollinating and able to handle some mild frost. It thrives in full sun, is drought tolerant and only requires a moderate amount of watering.
