An Easy Care Evergreen Groundcover
This evergreen shrub is beautifully colored in silvery blue green that fades to soft green as the plant matures. Shore Juniper is often used around a focal point, such as a flowering tree or palm. They are also a good option for slopes that require plantings to control erosion. Native to coastal areas of Japan and Russia, you’ll find them easy to grow in your yard. They won’t get too tall or spread too wide.
The plant does best in full to partial sun. They are cold hardy, and drought tolerant once established. Adaptable to a wide variety of conditions, the hardy Shore Juniper prefers dry sandy soil.
