Want something really cool and unique that everyone will envy? The Hydriastele beguinii ‘ Obi Island’ is a spectacular palm with very distinctive solid (non-split) leaves. Originally from the Obi Islands in Indonesia, this rare and unusual palm is slow growing and makes a bold statement as an indoor palm or garden specimen. This palm is a better option than others for tight spaces because of its somewhat slender form. Its neat look and glossy dark green foliage scream tropical rainforest. I found a very limited number of these in a shippable size. Each one is about 6ft tall in a 14” pot.
