Areca palm in arrived in great shape. Followed the clear and helpful unpacking and initial handling instructions. Everything is looking very good.

In reply to Grace. Hi Grace, No, you cannot use outdoor soil for indoor plants for these reasons: It's heavier than potting soil so air can't travel well.

Do we use the indoor potting soil for this plant if the palm will be kept indoors? (Outdoor is recommended in the checkout)

I love my Areca Palm and the packaging was fabulous! My palm safely traveled from Florida to Kansas and arrived in perfect condition. There was very little soil spilled and I’m thankful FedEx followed box instructions by placing the box upright. I definitely recommend PlantVine and look forward to ordering again when Kansas weather will allow.
