Perfectly Formed Iris-like Blooms Enchant Your Garden
Though the Fortnight Lily is native to South Africa, its flowers resemble small Japanese irises. These pretty blossoms seem to appear on tall branched stalks at two week intervals – hence the name “Fortnight.” Though the flowers last only one day, they are quickly replaced. For maximum flowering, plant in full sun with regular moisture.
Drought tolerant once established, the Fortnight Lily can be poisonous if ingested. Wear gloves when handling to prevent skin irritation.
