In reply to Rich. Hi Rich, Grow ti plant in a high-light situation. In most areas, this colorful houseplant can take direct sun on the leaves when grown indoors. It doesn't like low-light spots. Water: Keep soil evenly moist spring through fall. In winter, allow the top inch (2.5 cm) to dry out between waterings. Use rainwater to avoid adding fluoride and chlorine that's often present in tap water.

I just received one of these as a gift. There was no information with the plant. How should it be cared for when treated as a house plant?

In the warmest regions, cordyline can be both an indoor and an outdoor plant; however, if you live anywhere that isn’t a warm, tropical place, your cordyline should strictly be an indoor houseplant. These plants are fairly easy to grow indoors and will add both color and interest to your houseplant collection!
Ti thrives in temperatures above 62 degrees Fahrenheit and prefers a high humidity environment.
Minimum cold hardiness: Zone 10b 40 °F.

Very beautiful and very healthy . Again well protected and well packed in spite of the fact that the delivery person placed the box upside down ( the red arrows said ,this side up ).
