Description

A Stately Addition to your Cactus Collection

The Peruvian Apple Cactus is easy to grow, and needs very little TLC to thrive indoors or out. As the name implies, the plant originates in the deserts of South America. This succulent is slow growing, but will reward you with pristine white flowers throughout the summer. Lucky gardeners may even enjoy the fruit, which some say tastes like a cross between an overripe apple and a melon.

The plant prefers plenty of sunlight and fast-draining cactus soil. Water often during hot summer months, less frequently during winter. If grown outdoors, the plant can reach up to 30 ft. in height. If you chose it for inside your home, make sure to place it in a spot that gets plenty of light.

Why others chose this plant.

Awesome

As a house warming gift for my daughter and her husband. She has been wanting a big cactus for a while.

Bright corner in my bedroom needs a new plant!

I have been looking for a large cactus on other sites and have not been able to find one. So happy to find one!

My son wanted a tall cactus for his birthday. He is a perfectionist and I was assured I would get a photo of my plant before it was shipped, assuring me that we would both be pleased with the purchase.

Good size and price! Didn't want a cutting. So pleased to find a rooted one.

So large and beautiful

I've been looking for a decent sized cereus peruvianus and have only been able to find unrotted options. Thrilled to have found a reputable source for larger cacti and unique plants!

This beautiful cactus will sit on my back deck and remind me of the amazing trip to Mexico that I took with my husband :)

What size pot should this be planted in? Mostly the width of the pot?

Our large size is between 8-10 inches so a 12 inch pot would work well.

Hi! You should water your cactus depending upon its location once to every two months. They are very drought tolerant. You should place in bright indirect sunlight.
